Heart health ‘on the go’ — a new magnesium supplement from HERMES PHARMA
Shortly following the announcement, HERMES PHARMA launched its new ‘on the go’ heart health supplement. It combines the power of magnesium and selected B vitamins (also implicated in cardiovascular health) with the convenience of an ultra-user-friendly dosage form:
- In the heart, magnesium plays a key role in modulating neuronal activity and muscle contraction by regulating ion transporters. Additionally, it supports the regulation of vascular resistance, calcification, epithelial maintenance, and thrombosis.
- Vitamins B6 and B12 help regulate elevated levels of the amino acid homocysteine, which is a known risk factor for heart disease. Elevated triglyceride levels are also associated with heart disease, and vitamin B3 can help lower triglyceride levels
- The new supplement comes in the form of orally disintegrating granules (ODGs) for pouring directly into the mouth. It can be taken ’on the go’ and without water ensuring it is easy to swallow for everybody. The product is supplied in single dose stick packs so does not require any measuring and can be conveniently integrated into busy daily routines.
